A call button that puts the initiative in your hands

Being able to make contact should not depend on pressing a physical bell. FDE5 Digital developed a virtual call button for people who cannot operate a conventional bell. The button lets the person take the initiative instead of waiting for someone to come by.

A button that works with the person’s existing tools

The person activates a virtual button on a phone or tablet using the assistive technology they already use. The solution connects a web interface with a Raspberry Pi.

Contact when it matters

When the button is activated, staff or a helper receive a notification that the person wants contact. It may be a request for practical help, a wish for company or something the person wants to share.

More independence in everyday life

The purpose is greater independence and a sense of security. Being able to call gives the person more influence over when contact happens and more control over their own day.
